vertigo and insomnia January 31, 2010
Posted by din in : blog , trackbackhelp..i cant sleep!! and just awhile ago i was so tired and sleepy while i was on the flight back from abu dhabi…i believe it was the super jet lag i’ve been suffering since a week ago.travelled to a few continents in a span of days…started from abu dhabi a week ago,worked all the way to bangkok,rested one night,flew back all the way to abu dhabi and took the immediate flight to kl,there i had sleepless and restless 4 days attending herbalife’s functions and headed back to abu dhabi. immediately after 6 hours,i reported for duty to toronto on a 15 hour flight,another sleepless and restless 2 nights there,with the freaking temperature below freezing point,and took a long 13 hours flight back to abu dhabi and caught the immediate flight back to kl to attend rueben’s wedding dinner reception which will be held tomorrow.
as soon as i got off the plane today,my head was spinning like as though i drank a whole bottle of tequila the night before.off the plane and into the train to the city with my head still spinning,tried to catch a nap in that 28 minutes ride but failed.somehow managed to drive back home after collecting my car and tried to take a nap with my head still spinning.did a search on the internet and guess i was suffering from vertigo which also means dizziness.i guess i was just plain too tired,disoriented and jet lagged from the sickening travelling in the past few days,or perhaps in the last 7 years of my shit flying job.i think i am getting old for this and my body is really taking a toll on me.honestly am no longer that 19 year old boy who was once so keen to see and travel the globe…my days in the aviation field is coming to an end.i am now certified suffering from insomnia!!..seriously,fuck flying man!!
