wow…what a night.never thought the year would end with a countdown with some banglas…lots of banglas!!…come on,how many people out there would get a chance to do this right?..hehe anyway though i am away this year from my loved ones,i still manage to have a good time with the help of my colleagues,members of flight EY 256.during briefing,our captain made sure everyone comes out and not be a party pooper and have a good night after arriving and checking into the hotel of the radisson,in dhaka,bangladesh.after catching a short power nap,we were all out again dressed in whatever best clothes we packed in our suitcase and headed down to the hotel restaurant for a new year’s eve buffet dinner.all 13 showed up and we had a fantastic new years’s eve dinner.
the hotel did a magnificent job with the deco and preparations for the new year’s eve party.we decided to choose a corner just for us,and so the countdown was held on the corridor of the third floor overlooking a live band performing at the lobby and had loads of drinks bought from the duty free shop at the airport before the flight,an arrangement made by our captain of course.we did the usual,taking pictures,drinking,singing,dancing and sang auld lang syne as soon as the the huge countdown digital timer which was displyed on a big screen struck midnight.a big thank you the the guys of flight 256 for not ending my 2009 with depression for being away from home and loved ones….thanks to all the banglas for making this night memorable too.
nothing to shout about for 2009.as it has brought me lots of challenges….i can say it has been quite a tough and tricky year.I’ve learnt to understand myself better and hope to apply my negative behaviors and attitude to a much positive and patient self.I have made lots of plans for 2010.I can feel its gonna be a very exciting and fast moving year for me.thanks to mom for being ever supportive in every path i took this year and to my lovely soon to be wife clara,thank you for being there for me in everything that i do and taking wonderful care of me and being so very patient with me and for making 2008 yet another fulfulling year in our ever lasting relationship.happy new year to everyone and may 2010 brings more unlimited ever flowing success in everyting that we do! cheers!
