remembering mj June 26, 2009

it’s so hard to believe that the king of pop just died like that.i was chatting with a friend on msn when he first asked me…”did michael jackson die?”…i was like “huh, where did u hear that?..i’m sure it was just a rumour”…..if it was for anyone else,i would probably ask how they died instead of being in denial….that’s how much someone like mj has affected people like me and many more aorund the world who are mourning over his death….but somehow there are people who are just not surprised..when i talk to them about it, they will like,” “aww, you must be sad..you’re one of his fan right”…it’s not about being his fan or not…this guy is a legend man,a global icon,….he made history, despite all his downfalls and the allegations towards him in the past few years, there’s just something about him that poeple respect and admire him for….he’s not just someone i grew up with,i’m 30 years old,and even people who are in their 60s grew old with him, that’s how long and he has been in the industry and how much he has affected our lives in between generations…you dont’ have to be an mj fan to be sad and mourn…whether you like him or hate him,i’m sure you should feel something about his death.why would the whole world be talking and all the news network still making it a headline and showing all his life work on air…even though someone like farah fawcett died on the same day,the affect is so great that it supercedes everything.larry king was suppose to do host a special show on farah fawcett but immediately after the tragic news of mj,the attention went directly to him.anwyay, i don’t know about you, well as for me,i’m still in a disbelief state, sad, surprised and shock…..michael jackson will always be remembered.
